GloPoWriMo/NaPoWriMo Day 5: Drunken On The Leaves

Today’s prompt is to write a poem that incorporates at least one of the following: (1) the villanelle form, (2) lines taken from an outside text, and/or (3) phrases that oppose each other in some way. Constrained by baby care and keeping to the discipline of writing a poem, here is a short one in the form of haiku.

drunken on the leaves
is an adept of lost sounds
feeling every fall
